Movement history
When symptoms appeared, how they changed, previous repairs, extensions, underpinning and anything else that belongs in the history of the building.
Inspections
A property movement inspection brings levels, visible indicators, construction and history into one practical picture. It is how you decide whether the next spend is an investigation, monitoring, or a conversation with the right specialist.

The whole property
Stepped cracking, a door out of square, bricks that have shifted. An inspection reads those signs with the levels, the way the house was built, and what has already been repaired. The photo is the reason to look. It is not the diagnosis.
What an inspection covers
01
When symptoms appeared, how they changed, previous repairs, extensions, underpinning and anything else that belongs in the history of the building.
02
Level observations, cracking, floor slopes, distortion and sticking openings, read together rather than from a single symptom.
03
Historic stone does not behave like a modern slab-on-ground home. How the property was built changes what the signs can mean.
04
Visible drainage, plumbing, vegetation, moisture and site conditions that may justify a specialist — not a conclusion GMA pretends to own.
05
Which questions can be answered now, and which need a plumber, arborist, engineer or other qualified professional.
06
If a snapshot is not enough to know whether movement is ongoing, monitoring is considered as the next piece of evidence.
Baseline surveys
A baseline records levels and visible condition early — for a new home, a purchase, or before works nearby. If movement is questioned later, you are comparing against a record, not a memory.
Coordination
Where remediation is required, GMA can keep the questions, specialists and records organised. Engineering, construction and certification stay with the appropriately licensed party.
Claims and disputes
We help identify useful investigations and present what the property is doing. We do not provide legal representation, determine policy coverage, or guarantee an insurance outcome.
